Cocktail O'Clock: Choc Espresso Martini
In honour of the Easter weekend today I bring you a choc-ed up version of my all time favourite cocktail, the Espresso Martini as invented by the Soho House mixologists. You can find the original recipe in the My Favourites part of the site. Here's the (surprisingly simple) ingredients for this naughty version:
One shot espresso. I have a brilliant little Tassimo machine that makes espresso, but otherwise just make some super strong coffee and let cool.
One shot Kahlua
One shot Baileys Chocolate Luxe (darker and more chocolatey than standard Baileys)
Shake it all up and strain into a cocktail glass. Top with grated chocolate or coffee beans. Drink and try not to think about the calories as 'tis the season to not care.
